Worship at Zion

We love music and liturgy! At Zion, our Sunday worship services are carefully planned by our worship team to offer a meaningful blend of liturgy, traditional hymns, special music, and preaching that connects to the scriptural themes of the day. Zion has a long history of quality music that many will say is what they appreciate most about Zion. We use a variety of liturgies throughout the year, choosing for the season and focus. Good preaching is provided by Pastor Marsha Smith and Pastor Dirk Stadtlander, whose day job is serving as Chaplain the University of Iowa Hospital. If you are visiting Zion for the first time check out the “New Here?” page to get all you need to know to make your visit a great experience.

Along with regular Sunday morning worship at 9:30 am, we offer worship on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm during the seasons of Lent and Advent, usually with a soup supper beforehand. See the Worship Schedule page for dates and times.
